"Weest bevlogen", twice upon a time in Amsterdam

Machiel Braaksma, Weest Bevlogen
The muscle car is part of the "Weest Bevlogen" concept by Machiel Braaksma. The person leaning against the wall is collateral damage. He is no part of Weest Bevlogen he happened to be there when I made these shots.
Check the website of Machiel Braaksma and order your copy the "Weest Bevlogen" sign (limited edition).

World Press Photo 2008

On April 29 the World Press Photo 2008 exhibition opened in Amsterdam. Like last year I visited the exhibition and again the photo's are stunning. And again most of it looked like the World Horror Photo contest. Here are the ones that impressed me most.
World Press Photo 2008 ZizolaFrancesco Zizola; A 14 year old girl gang raped, waiting for medical treatment.
World Press Photo 2008 Balazs GardiBalazs Gardi; A man holding a boy with shrapnel wounds.
world press photo 2008 Erik RefnerErik Refner; Competitors at the finish-line of a marathon.

Election time is coming, so our Heads of State are interested in your opinion. Please respond wise to the poll.

Collect the great bonus for immediate respondents! ; Your spam-tax 2008 can be forfeited*.
