Rainy day in Amsterdam, visited Foam_Fotografiemuseum with a friend.
The exposition Diamonds matter by Kadir van Lohuizen
shows the effect of diamond mining in Sierra Leone, Angola and DRCongo. Good or bad? The struggle for life of the common man is visible in every detail.

American street photographers features Garry Winogrand and others. The black and white collection "Woman are beautiful" (+/- 1950-1970) is excellent and fascinating.

Saw Mar Adentro yesterday, a stunning movie by Alejandro Amenábar. The story of Ramón Sampedro raises many questions on ethics an the value of human life.

Walking to the theater at the Keizersgracht I stumbled on this man playing a melancholic tune on his harmonica.

Tramps at Schiphol Airport

Yesterday I was at Schiphol Airport, bright lights high tech, and tramps!
Some tramps made the airport their home. This guy was sleeping in a not so crowded area :)
