loes diephuis <> big fish

Big Fish, an installation by Loes Diephuis on display at metro station Wibautstraat.

When I perused her website I discovered that I photographed work from Loes last year. That work is called "Kinderspel". Anyway, my perception *) is here.

*) yes I live in a different realm

johnny B goode

a nice thing in Amsterdam are the street musicians, one night this guy was really swinging on his magic 5 string guitar* with the classic Chuck Berry chords and words

Deep down Louisiana close to New Orleans
Way back up in the woods among the evergreens
There stood a log cabin made of earth and wood
Where lived a country boy named Johnny B. Goode
Who never ever learned to read or write so well
But he could play the guitar just like a ringing a bell

Go go
Go Johnny go
Go
Go Johnny go
Go
Go Johnny go

wheel of time

"The Wheel of Time turns, and Ages come and pass, leaving memories that become legend. Legend fades to myth, and even myth is long forgotten when the Age that gave it birth comes again. In one Age, called the Third Age by some, an Age yet to come, an Age long past, a wind rose.... The wind was not the beginning. There are neither beginnings nor endings to the turning of the Wheel of time.
But it was a beginning."

2 Z space

2 Z space, Diemerpark Zeeburg Amsterdam

Diemerpark, Zeeburg, Amsterdam. This park is located on a 1980 waste dump. The waste is preserved for future generations in a plastic wrapper. The groundwater has to be treated and continuously monitored. The rabbits and the grass are doing ok.
