"Leidse Square Entertainment Area" Our wise tax spending municipality has decided that the Red Light District is out, tourists should go to Leidse Plein. The speech computer in the public transport system announces the stops bilingual and Leidse Plein is recently reprogrammed to be announced as the official municipal entertainment area. Welcome to the city of magic! Anyway I went out for dinner at a tapas place near Leidse Plein where this musician from Uruguay played a great interpretation of Besame Mucho.

Marci Panis # 589
last saturday i visited Marci Panis at the Marcusstraat. The building is now in use by artists but it used to be a school (Nijverheid College). This image is stilled in the basement. I guess this was the wardrobe where students could hang their gear. Maybe you could join me and go back in time. Just imagine you are student 589 and i am student 587.
