panos mitsopoulos

Dec 23 last 2006 at P/////akt-Plug-In I photographed an artwork I nicknamed "frozen in amber". I did not know the name of the artist at that time. Now I know it is Panos Mitsopoulos and the piece is called "balancerend figuur op schommel".

I appreciate this piece of art very much, so I have been using a black and grey image of this work as a background for my blog since februari. I got in touch with Panos as I
photographed him while he was building his installation in metro-station Wibautstraat.
